Brooklyn u may have a point. But in this realistic world beauty always get the attention. On 1st date if she turns out sickenning fat & unappealing to u, would u even think of 2nd date with her? What if her character is super soft & kind type? Doubt she even get any chance to prove to u :(

Take a rich older man with a young pretty model, he jolly well know that his pretty babe is probably shallow, materialistic & only with him bc he has $$$; after all, y would a pretty young gal choose a 60 year-old fragile man over a 20 year-old virile one? He'll do whatever she say bc he doesn't know how 2 handle an attractive, dominating girl!
Well... something to add here is that, I do agree with some of ya comment as in beauty still plays a major role as in first meeting. Who will wish to go out with a Fat, Ugly girl right... But then, the character I refers to is definitely after few times of going out and interacting then you will be able to see... Think of it... who can really see one's actual character just by meeting once? Right

Heez.. nobody is wrong here, I always believe each of us hold our own individual perceptions. Then when it comes to r/s and views, often guys & girls just have totally different insights.
Btw, last Sunday, I was lucky enough to squirm my way out of getting a speeding ticket! "Heng" for mi, it's a male traffic police officer. Don't mistaken here k, I know what u guys maybe thinking there... NO k, I didn't manipulate him hoh, though most of u may think it's almost an art form the way girls use their charm to manipulate guys. But nahhhh... I was too nervous and scared at that moment, so after he signaled mi to stop one side and walked towards mi, I started to act damn innocent and before he could speak, I was fast enough to pretend I was lost and asked him to guide mi direction. Maybe he was too busy guiding mi the correct direction, he forgot about the fine (keke!).
Okay lah, maybe I should save all the troubles and just use my "magic" and smile and touch my hair or flirt a little then hoh... hahaha... CHEY... whatever it is, it's a goodbye to that S$170 fine and 8 demerit points saved :P
i believe laws of attraction will act first on all ppls, thus look is impt at 1st.. but after the first stage of that, it is the brain and personality that matters. thus u must at least have the avg look for someone to take notice of u b4 u can even show that u are brainy.
I deem same goes with the saying, "Never judge a book by its cover"... Though realistically, most ppls would still get attracted by pretty covers first, who don't right? Nevertheless, a good dictionary doesn't even have attractive covers, but those who know how to appreciate it certainly reap the benefit of its vast database of contemporary language resources.
